Client Overview:

Our client is one of the largest private real estate firms in the US and is a global leader in commercial real estate services and investments. Our client is looking for a Property Administrator needed to support a class-A office building in San Diego!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$27/hr – $31/hr 

Position Overview:

The Property Administrator would assist the property management team with day-to-day operations while providing top-tier customer service to both tenants and clients. This position is for 4 – 5 months (maternity leave coverage) with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities of the Property Administrator:

  • The Property Administrator will be responsible for answering management phones and assist with Tenant needs
  • Receive, distribute, and review all purchase orders, track purchase orders in Workspace, alert personnel of any problems or unresolved purchase orders, and run monthly reports.
  • Coordinate special events such as holiday events/parties, welcome lunches, book fairs, blood drives, food drives, etc.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and property staff directory.
  • Monitor outside vendors for compliance with contracts and certificates of insurance.
  • The Property Administrator will assist with preparing and administering service agreements.
  • Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reporting.
  • Organize and code invoices in Workspace.
  • Responsible for issuing Purchase Orders, tracking, and assigning the purchase orders to invoices as they are processed for payment.

Required Experience/Skills for the Property Administrator:

  • Minimum of 1 – 2 years previous commercial property management experience as a Property Administrator.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Possess a professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
