Our client is a small real estate company. They are currently looking to hire an experienced Property Manager to join the team!
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$75k
Position Overview:
The Property Manager will be responsible for managing around 200 units, primarily market rate but also some luxury. The Property Manager will not be managing anyone. The ideal candidate for this Property Manager position will have 2 – 3+ years of property management experience and ideally have bookkeeping experience.
Responsibilities of the Property Manager:
- Manage day-to-day operations of a multi-site portfolio with approximately 200 rental units.
- Respond to tenant inquiries via phone and email promptly.
- Process maintenance requests and collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure property functionality.
- Handle check deposits and vendor/subcontractor payments.
- Prepare lease renewals, coordinate lease turnovers, and assist with apartment marketing.
- Track rent collection and follow up on overdue payments.
Qualifications for the Property Manager:
- 2 – 3+ years of property management experience is required.
- Some bookkeeping experience is ideal.
- Ideally have experience working with a similarly sized, small real estate company.
- Experienced with managing a similar number of units.
- Comfortable working autonomously as needed.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
