Client Overview:

Our client is a leading consumer goods company. Our client is seeking college students majoring in scientific fields to fill the role of Quality Interns (1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts).

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22.50/hr – $24/hr Depending on shift

Position Overview:

The Quality Interns (1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts) will work with Operations and Production. The Quality Interns (1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts) are responsible for maintaining safety and environmental standards, following quality procedures, collecting data, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement. The schedule is as follows: 7 am – 3:30 pm (1st  shift),  3 pm – 11:30 pm (2nd shift), and 11 pm – 7:30 am (3rd shift). The Quality Interns (1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts) will work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Responsibilities of the Quality Interns (1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts):

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and Environmental Health & Safety requirements.
  • Uphold all Quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and cleaning guidelines.
  • Perform standard operations, quality inspections, and safety protocols.
  • Utilize systems to enhance operations and accurately document production activities.
  • Stay updated on team production performance through visual, written, and verbal communications.
  • Apply continuous improvement tools and techniques to support and achieve team objectives.

Qualifications of the Quality Interns (1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts):

  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Ability to work part-time hours while maintaining academic responsibilities.
  • Manufacturing experience is highly desired.
  • Good computer skills and a positive attitude toward learning.

Education Requirements:

  • College student currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
