Our client, a well-established, fast-paced construction firm based in Miami, FL, is known for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and building strong teams. Our HR department plays a crucial role in supporting the company’s growth by attracting top talent across engineering, field, and in office positions. Their team is now looking for a Recruiting Coordinator!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr – $30/hr

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a temporary Recruiting Coordinator to support their HR department. This Recruiting Coordinator role will provide essential recruiting support to the HR Manager and assist in hiring for a variety of non-union, non-craft roles across the organization. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in full-cycle recruiting.

Responsibilities of the Recruiting Coordinator:

  • Provide day-to-day recruiting support for non-craft, non-union roles (e.g., Project Engineers, Field Engineers, Project Managers).
  • Post job requisitions, screen candidates, and move applicants through the hiring process.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR Manager to align on open roles and recruiting strategies.
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, and hiring manager updates.
  • Act as liaison between candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support university outreach and agency communication for early talent pipelines.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with the HR Manager to ensure recruiting needs are met.
  • Use sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and iCIMS.

Required Experience/Skills for the Recruiting Coordinator:

  • 1 – 3 years of recruiting experience.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in or able to quickly learn iCIMS and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Reliable, personable, and able to quickly build rapport with team members

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Recruiting Coordinator:

  • 1 – 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting in construction or engineering related field highly preferred

Education Requirements:

  • No specific degree required, experience is prioritized.
