Salary/Hourly Rate:

$21/hr – $22/hr
$23.50/hr for bilingual candidates

Position Overview:

The Registration Specialists will play a key role in enrolling Medicaid recipients, primarily elderly and disabled individuals, into self-directed care services. The Registration Specialists will assist with completing necessary documentation, educating individuals on program requirements, and ensuring smooth processing. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a remote environment.

Responsibilities of the Registration Specialists:

  • Assist Medicaid recipients in completing required enrollment documentation.
  • Educate individuals and their representatives on self-directed care, including program benefits and responsibilities.
  • Conduct follow-ups to address potential enrollment barriers and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate a smooth enrollment process.
  • Perform in-home visits when necessary to ensure proper documentation and program understanding.
  • Maintain accurate records and track participant enrollment status.
  • Ensure compliance with program policies and procedures while meeting quality assurance standards.
  • Support participants in navigating online platforms, service portals, and time-tracking systems.
  • Identify and report any suspected cases of fraud, abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
  • Uphold a high standard of customer service, providing compassionate and effective support.

Required Experience/Skills for the Registration Specialists:

  • Experience:
    • 1+ years of experience in customer service or administrative support.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and web-based applications.
    • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Registration Specialists:

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or aging adults is preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
