Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $120k plus Bonus

Position Overview:

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will independently manage the regulatory strategy and filings throughout the product lifecycle. The Regulatory Affairs Manager can expect some domestic travel to contract manufacturers to ensure regulatory compliance. The Regulatory Affairs Manager will report to the Director of R&D and manage one Coordinator as part of the team.

Responsibilities of the Regulatory Affairs Manager:

  • Maintain and oversee all regulatory compliance for products in various stages of development.
  • Prepare and submit all regulatory documentation for both international and domestic markets, staying informed of cosmetics regulation updates across said markets.
  • Own the product registration process and documentation.
  • Collaborate with R&D as SME to ensure regulatory compliance through the new product development process.
  • Independently manage labeling compliance and product claims.

Qualifications for the Regulatory Affairs Manager:

  • Minimum 3 – 4 years of experience in regulatory affairs for personal care, cosmetics, fragrance, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of international cosmetic regulations (EU and other markets) and FDA.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working collaboratively with other teams.
  • Ability to write technical documentation.
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related science is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
