Client Overview:
Our client is an established company developing high-quality beauty and personal care products for the global market. They are looking to add a Regulatory Specialist (Consumer Goods) to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25/hr – $28/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Specialist (Consumer Goods) to support our client’s formulation and raw material data management efforts. This role involves maintaining accurate records, gathering and inputting data, and ensuring smooth communication with vendors and external partners. The ideal candidate for the Regulatory Specialist (Consumer Goods) will have experience working with cosmetic raw materials, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Excel and Coptis (or similar database systems).
Responsibilities of the Regulatory Specialist (Consumer Goods):
- Gather and maintain raw material data for formulations.
- Input and update formulation details into the database.
- Track and follow up on missing or delayed information from vendors and external partners.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure timely data submissions.
- Update trackers and manage data entry tasks with accuracy.
- Utilize Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred) and Coptis for data organization and reporting.
- Ensure projects stay on track and deadlines are met.
Required Experience/Skills for the Regulatory Specialist (Consumer Goods):
- Strong data management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills: ability to proactively follow up on outstanding items.
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables are a plus).
- Experience with Coptis or similar formulation software is highly desirable.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Regulatory Specialist (Consumer Goods):
- Experience or familiarity with cosmetic raw materials is preferred.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, etc.) is required.
