Our client is a growing freight and logistics company, helping organizations as a full service transportation provider. Their team is now looking for a Sales Account Executive.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$50k
Position Overview:
As the Sales Account Executive, they will play a crucial role in helping to drive the growth of the business by building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their freight needs, and delivering logistics solutions.
Responsibilities of the Sales Account Executive:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the transportation and freight industry. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients. Understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients. Clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of our services.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth. Stay informed about industry developments and changes.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial terms. Close deals effectively and efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of services. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address client needs and resolve any issues that arise.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts to management.
Required Experience/Skills for the Sales Account Executive:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as Sales Account Executive independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and sales experience.
