Position Overview:

As a Senior Accountant (Bilingual Spanish), you will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. Your experience in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance will contribute to the overall success of our company.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant (Bilingual Spanish):

  • The Senior Accountant (Bilingual Spanish) will perform general accounting functions, including financial statement preparation, analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • The Senior Accountant (Bilingual Spanish) will monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and review various financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • The Senior Accountant (Bilingual Spanish) will manage and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
  • Stay updated with the latest accounting regulations and industry trends, implementing best practices where applicable.
  • Support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant (Bilingual Spanish):

  • Bilingual Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
