Position Overview:

The Real Estate Underwriter will partner with the New York Real Estate team to perform market research for Florida, underwriting, and analysis activities for the Company’s new acquisition and development opportunities in the Florida market.

Responsibilities of the Real Estate Underwriter:

  • The Real Estate Underwriter will support underwriting of assets, including substantial loan underwriting.
  • Understand the risks and profitability of property investments.
  • Provide direction and hands-on involvement with the Management team in the organization, including business analysis, valuation, and underwriting modeling.
  • The Real Estate Underwriter will perform market research.
  • Understand structure and analyze complex business issues and perform accurate analysis and modeling.
  • Assist with analysis of loans.
  • The Real Estate Underwriter will support the implementation of new processes and procedures.

Required Experience/Skills for the Real Estate Underwriter:

  • Must have strong Excel skills for the Real Estate Underwriter.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build partnerships with diverse teams.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Real Estate or a related field is required.
