Client Overview:

Our client, a premium supplier of medical devices, is looking for a Shipping Clerk to join their growing distribution team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$14/hr – $16/hr

Position Overview:

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for overseeing inventory management, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, and maintaining accurate stock levels to meet organizational needs. This role is a first shift and is full-time.

Responsibilities of the Shipping Clerk:

  • Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and arrangement of goods.
  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and stocking of materials and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions using inventory management software or databases.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for storing and handling inventory.

Qualifications for the Shipping Clerk:

  • Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks and lift inventory as needed.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
