They are in the telecommunication space and have a fantastic company culture, and a very flexible hybrid schedule. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team!
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$65,000 – $75,000, depending on experience
Position Overview:
The ideal Staff Accountant candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices and will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The Staff Accountant prepares and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Provide support for special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
