Our client is an established leader in the travel industry. They are currently looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Director for a newly created role! This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Director to support a well-known and growing company.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$150k
Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Director will be responsible for leading the talent acquisition function. The Talent Acquisition Director will oversee 3 direct reports, partner with executives, and work in both a strategic and hands-on capacity.
Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Director:
- Direct and supervise the Talent Acquisition team to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Design and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aimed at attracting exceptional candidates in a competitive environment.
- Partner with executives to clarify hiring requirements and align recruitment initiatives with business aims.
- Proactively identify and resolve obstacles within the recruitment process to facilitate efficient operations.
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding across various roles.
- Leverage innovative sourcing strategies to build a diverse and highly qualified talent pool.
- Manage recruitment efforts for remote positions, customer service roles, and IT positions, ensuring alignment with the organization’s culture and principles.
- Train and mentor the Recruitment team and Hiring Managers on best practices, interview methodologies, and effective candidate evaluation.
- Provide ongoing support and development for the Recruitment team to ensure high levels of performance and continual improvement.
- Create and analyze recruitment metrics to monitor key performance indicators and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine and improve recruitment processes.
- Strengthen the company’s employer branding initiatives to attract top-tier candidates.
- Effectively represent the company’s culture and values to potential candidates, emphasizing why our travel company is an attractive workplace.
- Cultivate relationships with external recruiting agencies and vendors to ensure effective collaboration and cost-efficient hiring practices.
Qualifications for the Talent Acquisition Director:
- 8 – 10 years of experience in talent acquisition is required.
- Management experience is required.
- Ideally experienced in supporting recruitment for remote positions, call centers, and IT.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with analyzing recruitment metrics and implementing strategic initiatives.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field is required.
