Currently, they are looking to add a Temp Merchandising Analyst to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30/hr – $35/hr

Position Overview:

The Temp Merchandising Analyst is tasked with reviewing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights aimed at minimizing recurring issues. This role is essential in acting as a bridge between the merchant organization and distribution centers, helping to develop and implement guidelines.

Responsibilities of the Temp Merchandising Analyst:

  • Analyze sales data and trends to support merchandising decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability and assisting in the management of replenishment strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising team to assess product performance and recommend adjustments to assortments.
  • Assist in the development and execution of promotional strategies, analyzing the impact on sales and inventory.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reports on key merchandising metrics to support decision-making.

Qualifications for the Temp Merchandising Analyst:

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in a merchandising, planning, or retail analysis role is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of retail metrics and merchandising principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field is required.
